You may wonder who cares well too many customers care sadly. The main strong points 02:10.080 --> 02:17.280 are that we can aggregate email from more than one email account. So, yes, what is this about 04:54.000 --> 05:01.280 moving emails to tracker items, so I'm going to explain how it's configured, and then why we wanted 05:01.280 --> 05:11.920 it, and on an example. So, as I said, tracker, the database abstraction layer, it's a bit like 05:11.920 --> 05:19.520 SQL tables, so there are fields, and we created a new tracker field type called email folder, 05:19.520 --> 05:27.200 so when you create a new field on your tracker, you select email folder, and then you have to 05:27.200 --> 05:37.200 select a file garage, why? I open an email, which is of no interest, that's why it shows it, and you can see that 06:14.480 --> 06:24.400 you have everything you would expect from modern web mail, plus two links, which are special, 06:24.400 --> 06:33.040 because you're in ticky, and not going to explain pdf extraction, but the tracker moving here, 06:33.040 --> 06:40.240 if you click on that, you get the list of all the trackers, which have a field of type 06:41.040 --> 06:48.240 email folder, which I described before. There are two of them, I have permission to see, I select 06:48.240 --> 06:56.720 the tasks one, now I select the folder, usually inbox, and this is the searchable list of all the 06:56.720 --> 07:05.120 tracker items, which I like, records of the tracker tasks, and when I choose one, the mail gets there. 07:06.080 --> 07:13.040 And now this is the view, this is what happens next, that's the view of the tracker item, 07:13.040 --> 07:18.080 that's the default view, it's very simplistic, on the left you have the name of the fields, 07:18.080 --> 07:24.080 and on the right you have the contents, and we can see our emails fields here, and the contents 07:24.080 --> 07:32.160 is like a mini web mail, so everybody who works on this task, who has been given permission to access 07:32.160 --> 07:40.960 this task, can see all the emails related to this task, can open them, read them, reply, 07:41.920 --> 07:49.920 compose new ones, etc. So they can totally forget about that previous mailbox, everything happens here, 07:49.920 --> 07:58.560 now, together with all the other fields, which were related to working on the task, like, I don't know, 07:59.520 --> 08:09.440 related files, status, related tasks, and people working on the task, and even a Friday discussion, 08:09.440 --> 08:17.600 because you're not always alone working on the task, and that's basically the point, and when 08:17.600 --> 08:28.240 that task is done here, the status, we can archive it, and that email is not anymore in your 08:28.240 --> 08:35.360 inbox, the task is not anymore in your pending tasks, and everybody can forget about those emails, 08:35.360 --> 08:43.680 and that's, takes care of that.
